Eagle Brae
Inverness-shire, Scotland
A small group of luxurious and authentic log cabins in the Highlands, from which you can explore the incredible mountains, moorland and lochs of Scotland
If you’ve ever wanted to get off the grid but have a fear of sacrificing your creature comforts, here’s a wilderness experience with a difference. Eagle Brae is the stunning result of one family's eight years of hard work. These are the log cabins you dream of, and they have a remote, peaceful hillside setting in the Highlands, just a 30-minute drive from Inverness.

Eagle Brae offers a small group of Canadian pioneer-style cabins featuring high pitched ceilings, well equipped kitchens, mezzanine floors, wood burning stoves and awe-inspiring terraces with views across the valley. Your luxurious eco-friendly retreat puts you right in the middle of nature, where the only thing making a sound is the wind or the occasional passing owl.

Soak up the views of mountains, moorland and lochs, and watch the wildlife pass you by. If you should pop over to reception for some sightseeing tips or a complimentary cold drink and a packet of shortbread (when in Scotland!), then make sure to say hello to the three resident goats.

Eagle Brae is the most idyllic hideaway, where you can wake up to catch an amazing sunrise as the mist lifts over the valley below and perhaps even spot a deer wandering around your cabin.

Good to know

The Eagle Brae estate produces its own delicious wild venison burgers, lamb from four-horned sheep and pork that comes from rare-breed Berkshire pigs. If you’re into foraging for mushrooms, the estate's chanterelle slope might provide some funghi fun.

Please note that a £200 security deposit for breakages/damages is to be paid directly to Eagle Brae 10 weeks before arrival (or immediately if applicable).
